A clean file prints faster, cheaper and better. Check these five things before you upload.
1. Export in millimetres
Most slicers expect millimetres. If your part looks tiny or huge in our preview, switch the unit next to the file name (mm / cm / inch).
2. Make sure the model is closed
A printable model is "watertight": no holes, no loose faces. In Blender use Select All by Trait → Non-Manifold; in Fusion use Mesh → Repair. Our checker warns you when a mesh isn't closed.
3. Keep walls at least 1 mm thick
Walls thinner than 0.8 mm may not print or may snap. For parts that take load, aim for 2 mm or more.
4. Fit the build volume
We print up to 250 × 250 × 250 mm in one piece. Larger parts can be split into sections with pins or dovetails and joined after printing.
5. Think about orientation
Layers are strongest along their length. Tell us in the notes which face should be smooth or which direction takes the load, and we'll orient the part for you.
